The Global Criminal Justice Rewards Program at the U.S. State Department is offering a reward of up to $5 million to individuals who provide information that leads to the arrest, transfer, or conviction of Ahmad Harun.
“In addition to justice for the victims,” said Under Secretary Zeya. “We wish to see survivors and all displaced persons safely and voluntarily return home, to sew the fabric of Iraqi society back together.”

Every day, the United States is working to free unjustly imprisoned journalists, and combat impunity for violence and other injustices committed against them.
“We’re in this for Ukraine to be strong in the long haul and to stand strongly on its own two feet militarily, economically, democratically,” said Secretary Blinken.
"We hope that improved security,” said Assistant Secretary Nichols, "will help both address the immediate problem of crime, while preventing more youth from entering into gang activity.”
Republika Srpska President Dodik "has taken a series of steps to undermine state institutions, and regularly calls for the dissolution of the country," said Ambassador Wood.
“The situation in Cuba right now — economically, socially, with regard to human rights — is an incredibly difficult situation,” said U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Brian Nichols.
"We certainly believe that Venezuela can have a much better, more prosperous, successful, and inclusive future, if competitive elections are allowed to take place there," said Assistant Secretary Nichols.
"Even from prison and harsh conditions for crimes he did not commit, Vladimir continues to speak boldly in support of freedom and democracy," said Deputy Assistant Secretary Coulter.
"And now, the U.S.-Japan alliance is a beacon to the entire world,” said President Biden.
“Nearly a year since this crisis began, the situation in Sudan remains catastrophic, and it is only getting worse,” said Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield.
